If you arrive early it pays to check in early as we were able to join a tour 45 mins before our allotted time and we were dealt with in a very friendly and efficient manner. In order to access this canyon you are required to book and pay for a guided tour which gives you a specific time of tour and when to check in. We were told that they are siblings who have rival companies after originally operating as one but this may have been tongue in cheek. The site is easy to find by car and one travels a few hundred yards off the road into the parking lot for the tour guide companies of which there are two in close proximity - Dixie's and Fred's.

We travelled here after visiting Horseshoe Bend which is around 15 minutes away so they make a good double attraction visit. I confess that I was unfamiliar with the name of Antelope Canyon prior to this visit, although I quickly realized I had seen images from this spectacular slot canyon before.
